PreEmptive Solutions has created this privacy policy to demonstrate our commitment to customer privacy. Privacy on the PreEmptive Solutions web site is important to us. We reserve the right to change this policy and will post notification of the change on our web site thirty days prior to the effective date of change.

Collected Information

We require customers who register to use the products and services offered on our web site to give us contact information, such as their name, address, e-mail, and billing information. We use collected information to provide support, updates, and communicate with you about our products and services. We may also use the information to provide a customer newsletter. Runtime Intelligence Services (RIS) customers may use the service to host data and information ("Data"). PreEmptive Solutions will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such Data except as provided in the subscription or other agreement, or as may be required by law. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, or suspected violation of a subscription or other agreement, or as may be required by law. Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and password.

PreEmptive Solutions may collect information from visitors to and customers of the web site, such as Internet addresses. This information is logged to administer our web site.

Security

PreEmptive Solutions has implemented security measures to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Runtime Intelligence Services (RIS) Data under our control. We have also implemented an advanced security method based on RIS dynamic data and encoded session identifications. The RIS product portal is hosted in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technologies to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Lastly, PreEmptive Solutions provides unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a customer logs on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of Data.
