The Tamper Notification and Response solution introduces a powerful detective control helping to protect both .NET application developers and their customers.

Dotfuscator can automatically add logic to obfuscated applications to self-diagnose application tampering. For the first time, an obfuscated application that has either been modified or recompiled without authorization will provide:

1) Tamper notification in near real-time

Dotfuscator can emit secure signals that are assembled into tamper incident reports and distributed in near real-time. The near-real time incident reports include supporting forensic data and may be distributed to application authors and the consumers' IT staff.

2) Tamper response in near real-time

Dotfuscator allows the developer to add customized code that will automatically be executed when a tamper is detected. The code could halt execution, reduce the functionality of the tampered application, or notify the user that they are running a tampered application.
